ACL Reconstruction and Hip/Knee Osteoarthritis

GPs are often the first point of contact in the healthcare system for a person with OA. Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic disease and the most common form of chronic arthritis. It is characterised by joint pain, stiffness and swelling, and mainly affects the hands, knees and hips. This learning module explores OA including risk factors and treatment pathways.

  • Outline the key points on history and examination of knee osteoarthritis patients and when to order and interpret relevant investigations
