We've reached an exciting milestone in our Fitzroy redevelopment - we have welcomed our first patient into the new East Tower! Our Day Infusions Services has officially moved into Level 1 in the new East Tower as of the 18^th June 2024.

With a touch of kismet, our first patient’s wife worked in Day Infusions when it first opened over 30 years ago. She even taught some of our current staff oncology and how to care for patients undergoing treatment. 

Level 1 of the East Tower is the first floor to be open to the public and showcases the stunning redevelopment that the hospital has been working on for 3 years. Featuring spacious pods and lovely views of Victoria Parade, patients will experience a relaxing stay while they come in for treatment. Same wonderful team, but now in a brand-new home. 

Eventually, Day Infusion Services will move to its permanent home on Level 8 of the East Tower where combined with the haematology ward, will provide innovative trials and advanced treatment. 

Our Day Infusion Services will be temporarily located on Level 1 of the new East Tower for the next 12 months while we create its new home on Level 8. If you're coming into St Vincent's Private Hospital Fitzroy for a Day Infusion, please head into the lift, select 'Level 1', exit via the rear, and follow the banners along to reception. We also have friendly volunteers stationed on the Ground Floor of the current West Tower who can help show you the way.
