Common foot conditions
The foot structure is complex and interwoven. It handles the force of your entire bodyweight everyday which makes it vulnerable to stresses and strains. Common foot conditions can arise for various reasons such as poorly fitting footwear (bunions, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs), wear and tear (osteoarthritis), sudden injury (foot fracture) or disease (rheumatoid arthritis). These conditions can be exacerbated over time through lifestyle choice, or simply through genetic disposition or biological structure. They can often cause painful symptoms that make daily tasks and getting around difficult to achieve. Foot conditions can be diagnosed and treated by our highly trained specialists using examination, imaging, and surgery if necessary.
