Biography

A/Prof Baker is a Melbourne-based dermatologist who has practised in general dermatology for nearly thirty years. He works to devise tailored treatment plans for each for individual skin conditions to ensure they people are receiving the very best of care.

A/Prof Baker is the director of the Department of Dermatology at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne with clinical interests in advanced psoriasis therapies, photodermatology, phototherapy, skin cancer and clinical trials.

Chris graduated in Australia and trained in dermatology in Australia and undertook post graduate studies in photobiology at St Thomas’ Hospital London. He has been principal and co-investigator in numerous clinical trials and has been involved in implementation and development of local treatment protocols.

Chris was the co-founder of the Australasian Psoriasis Registry and he has published over 40 papers in peer review journals. He is currently the dermatology research lead at St Vincent’s Hospital.
