Biography

Professor Rajesh Subbiah is Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. He has particular expertise in pacemaker and cardiac defibrillator implantation, cardiac resynchronisation therapy, and catheter ablation of complex arrhythmias.

He is currently leading the program on the use of Pulse Field Ablation technology as a novel and highly effective treatment for atrial fibrillation. 

Professor Rajesh Subbiah is also a consultant cardiologist at St Vincent’s Hospital. He is a Conjoint Professor of Medicine at the University of NSW and a Faculty member at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. His research interests include cardiac arrhythmias and inherited cardiac ion channel disorders (long QT syndrome and Brugada syndrome).
