Biography

Mr Alexander Rosalion is an Melbourne-based health professional. Alexander is trained as a cardiothoracic surgeon and has three practices located in Balwyn, Wantirna and Box Hill.

Mr Rosalion graduated in medicine from the University of Melbourne in 1975. He worked at the Royal Melbourne Hospital performing general surgery from 1976 to 1981. He obtained his fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1983.

In 1982 Alexander began working at Melbourne University Hospital. In 1985 travelled to the US where he obtained fellowships from Johns Hopkins Hospital and Case Western University Hospital. He subsequently returned to Melbourne and worked at the Austin Hospital before joining St Vincent’s.

Alexander has been a clinical instructor at the University of Melbourne since 1988.
