Biography

Dr Amir Hanna is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist interested in family planning & fertility at Mater Hospital, North Sydney.

Dr Amir Hanna graduated in Medicine in 1984. He completed his training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Royal North Shore Hospital in 2002 and has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists since 2003. 

Dr Hanna is a Senior Lecturer for medical students at Sydney University and is involved in teaching medical students at Sydney Adventist Hospital.

Dr Hanna is a father to four children and truly understands the wonder and privilege of bringing a child into the world. He is a dedicated obstetrician whose goal is to help you achieve your expectations, at the same time ensuring a safe delivery for mother and baby. His friendly manner quickly puts new patient’s at ease and he fully understands the anxiety that some patients feel when confronted with medical problems.
