Biography
Dr Art Kaminski is a Radiation Oncologist and Regional Medical Director consulting at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside.
Dr Kaminski completed a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery at Flinders University of South Australia in 1996.
He developed an interest in oncology whilst working in Western Australia and undertook rotations in medical oncology, haematology and palliative medicine prior to commencing training in radiation oncology and completing his Fellowship in 2007.
Dr Kaminski has clinical interests in lung, liver, bone, brain, spine, and skin cancers. He has been involved in research projects about topics such as molecular profiling, radiation therapy techniques, and treatment side-effects.
During 2007, Dr Kaminski spent part of the year as a Visiting Fellow in London, England, Paris, France, and Toronto, Canada. His clinical research interests include radiation therapy techniques, molecular profiling, and treatment side-effects.
Dr Art Kaminski is based at GenesisCare Wesley and GenesisCare Chermside. He also has weekly clinics at Westside Private Hospital, Taringa, and St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, Spring Hill.
Professional memberships include RANZCR, TROG, ABG, AGITG, and ASBD.
