Biography
Dr Ben Jonker is dedicated to providing the highest level of compassionate patient care, offering quality care by collaborating with colleagues and pursuing the technical advancement in his field.
Dr Jonker is an Australian neurosurgeon with expertise in brain and pituitary tumours, as well as stereotactic and functional neurosurgery. Ben has a particular interest in conditions treated with stereotactic and functional neurosurgery including trigeminal neuralgia, epilepsy, tremor and other movement disorders. He treats these with operative neurosurgery and stereotactic neurosurgical techniques including radiosurgery and MRI-guided focused ultrasound.He completed his fellowship subspecialty training in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery in Calgary, Canada and UCLA, Los Angeles.
He is a board member of the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He consults in Sydney and Orange.
