Biography
Dr Bing Teh is a fully qualified ENT surgeon based in Melbourne, Victoria.
Dr Bing Teh obtained her medical degree from the University of Melbourne. With the support of Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Foundation’s surgeon scientist scholarship, she completed her PhD from the University of Western Australia investigating on the tissue engineering of the tympanic membrane with Prof Marcus Atlas. She completed her Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) training in Victoria and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS). During her training, she also won several prestigious awards including the Jean Littlejohn Prize in Otolaryngology for best registrar oral presentation, the Best Dissector Award at the Temporal Bone Course, and several grants, best poster and oral presentation awards at national and international conferences.She further pursued a 2-year subspecialty fellowship training in Otology, Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP) and worked at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC), Weill Cornell Medical Center, Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital (CHONY) and Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) in New York, USA. She was trained under Dr Sam Selesnick, Dr George Alexiades, Dr Larry Lustig, Dr Anil Lalwani, Dr Ana Kim and Dr Justin Golub. During this time, she received the Metronics Travel Grant as well as the American Neurotological Society (ANS) Research Grant.
Dr Teh sees patients of all ages, including paediatric. She manages general ENT conditions but is particularly keen in all aspects of ear and hearing. She consults in Mandarin, and is also able to consult in Cantonese, Japanese and Malay.
