Biography

Dr Carlo Yuen is a specialist urologist at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Sydney with an interest in robotic-assisted surgery, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder Cancer (blue light cystoscopy), and benign prostatic hypertrophy (Rezum, Urolift®, laser prostatectomy, TURP).

After completing his advanced surgical training in Queensland and New South Wales, Carlo then went on to complete his Fellowship in Urology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. Carlo then completed an additional fellowship in robotics and advanced laparoscopy at the Cleveland Clinic, and was the proud recipient of The International Preceptorship in Laparoscopic Urology through the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand.

Carlo is committed to surgical education and training, and is currently head of training and education of urology trainees at St Vincent’s Hospital. He is also a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales.

Carlo is an active member of the Kinghorn Cancer Centre Urology Multidisciplinary Team, is an honorary researcher at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, and is involved in translational research, particularly in the field of prostate cancer.
