Biography

Dr Daniel Cohen is an Australian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in hip, knee and trauma surgery.

After obtaining his degree in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2010, Dr Cohen went on to complete his Orthopaedic Surgical Training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He then completed a further twelve months of subspecialist training in primary and revision joint replacement at the University of Toronto, where he was trained by internationally renowned specialists in how to manage especially complex joint replacement operations.

Daniel is uniquely fellowship-trained in minimally invasive approaches and robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery. He embraces the use of the latest evidence-based technology in his surgical practice and employs advanced contemporary techniques to consistently ensure optimal patient outcomes, recovery, and functionality.

Daniel is known for his excellent communication skills and personable nature, with a commitment to excellence in surgical practice and modernised patient care. He believes in a personalised, patient-centred, shared decision-making model where his patients are educated and empowered to contribute to their own management journey.
