Biography
Dr Heide Feberwee is a pain medicine specialist offering evidence-based multidisciplinary interventional pain management solutions to improve quality of life for people struggling with persistent pain.
Heide was born and educated in South Africa, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Stellenbosch, before going on to complete a Diploma in Anaesthesia. After briefly working in the UK, she moved to New Zealand to undertake her specialist anaesthetist training in 2002. Pursuing her interest in pain management, she trained at The Auckland Regional Pain Service and completed her fellowship in pain medicine in 2008.Moving to Queensland in 2009, Heide has since been practising pain medicine on the Gold Coast and consulting at locations in Brisbane and Tweed. She also currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer at Griffith University and Honorary Adjunct Assisstant Professor at Bond University.
