Biography

Dr Jason Chen is a consultant physician in rehabilitation medicine.  He completed his medical degree at The University of Melbourne.

He undertook specialist training in Victoria and is a fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians.  He has worked at subspecialty rehabilitation centres including the Victorian Spinal Cord Service at Austin Health and the Acquired Brain Injury Unit at Alfred Health. 
 
Jason also holds a diploma in pain management with his main interests being neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain conditions and pain in older persons.  In addition to clinical work, Jason is actively involved in quality improvement in clinical care, education of junior doctors and medical students and is a supervisor for rehabilitation medicine trainees at his public hospital appointment. 
 
He has a passion for holistic medical care and the restoration of maximum independence and quality of life through rehabilitation.
