Biography

Dr Kiran Vanza is a distinguished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who prides herself in providing compassionate, evidence-based care. She creates a warm and welcoming environment for her patients, ensuring they feel valued and understood. Dr Vanza is committed to building a trusting relationship with her patients and collaboratively develops tailored treatment goals to meet individual needs. Balancing her medical expertise and supportive approachable manner, Dr Vanza empowers women to make informed decisions about their health at all life stages.

Dr Vanza graduated with honours from the University of New South Wales School of Medicine. She also holds a Masters in Reproductive Medicine and a Masters of Medicine in Advanced Gynaecological Surgery. Dr Vanza completed her obstetrics and gynaecology training across several premier tertiary hospitals throughout New South Wales, including Royal Prince Alfred and John Hunter Hospitals. Her fellowship years were focused on minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, which she undertook through a prestigious Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery (AGES) accredited unit.
 
Remaining at the forefront of current evidence and best practice medicine, Dr Vanza has authored and co-authored several research papers pertaining to her field and has presented these at National and International Conferences. She has also written a book chapter on Obesity and Gynaecological Ultrasound. She is highly committed to teaching and coordinates departmental simulation training and facilitates skills workshops for RANZCOG and AGES. She is a clinical lecturer for Medical Students at the University of Western Sydney and is involved in RACGP accredited workshops.
