Biography

Leah Marley is a specialist breast surgeon, who completed her surgical training in 2018, followed by a fellowship year at St Vincent’s, Melbourne, and was the Senior Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Fellow at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London in 2022-2023.

She undertook a Masters of Surgery through the University of Sydney, which she completed in 2022, and now co-convenes a unit for the Masters of Breast Surgery course.

Leah has a public hospital appointment at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, as a Breast and General Surgeon. Her practice includes the treatment of both benign and malignant breast disease, and she has a special interest in oncoplastic reconstructive techniques for breast cancer. Within the wider surgical community, Leah has interests in junior surgical mentoring, training and education, as well as advocating for women in surgery.

Leah participates in the long-term surgical breast cancer follow up programme, in addition to seeing patients attending for annual high-risk screening and the surveillance of benign breast disease.
