Biography
Dr Marnie Wood is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist with a particular interest in viral hepatitis, general gastroenterology and women’s digestive health.
Marnie graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with honours in 1998. She completed her specialist training in gastroenterology at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s and Townsville Hospitals, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2007.Marnie continues to pursue her academic interest; she holds a PhD from the University of Queensland and is actively involved with ongoing medical research into liver disease.
