Biography

Dr Paul Bergamin is a consultant urological surgeon with public and private hospital positions in Griffith, Wagga Wagga and Sydney. He believes in providing a regular local comprehensive urological assessment and management service for all patients.

Dr Bergamin grew up in Griffith on a citrus farm and has returned at every opportunity during medical school, junior medical training and now as a surgeon. He obtained fellowship with The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) as a urological surgeon in January 2021, after training in Sydney, Brisbane, and Northern NSW.  

Dr Bergamin treats the full spectrum of urological conditions including:

  • Male and female lower urinary tract symptoms
  • Male and female incontinence
  • Kidney stone disease
  • Urological cancers
  • Urological infections
  • Andrology/sexual dysfunction
  • Routine procedures such as vasectomy, circumcision and scrotal operations

He also has a keen interest in healthcare efficiency and resource utilisation, completing a Master of Health Leadership and Management, and obtaining an associate fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA). Dr Bergamin has university affiliations, has published and presented nationally and internationally, and was a senior editor of the Urology Fellowship Handbook.
