Biography

Dr Robert Hislop heads up the intensive care department and has particular expertise in using sound wave technology as a way of understanding how well your heart is functioning.

Dr Hislop is the intensive care Head of Department at the Mater Hospital and staff specialist intensivist at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Rob has a strong interest in echocardiography, clinical governance and providing quality healthcare in the developing world. He is an active volunteer at Open Heart International and is pasionate about medical education. Rob is a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney.
