Biography

Dr Ryan Schrale is a highly qualified general and interventional cardiologist.

Dr Ryan Schrale has expertise in percutaneous coronary interventions, acute treatment of myocardial infarction, and treatments for valvular heart disease.

Ryan graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1997, and subsequently stayed in Adelaide to complete his specialist cardiology training. He then went on to pursue a number of interventional cardiology fellowships internationally at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford in 2005, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston in 2006. He was a clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School. He also holds a Master’s Degree in evidence-based health care from Oxford University.

Returning to Australia in 2008, he was a consultant cardiologist in Adelaide and Townsville, before finally finding a home at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba in 2019.
