Biography
Dr Vishnu Sannarangappa is an endocrinologist and general medicine physician with a particular interest in diabetes, metabolic bone disease, and obstetric endocrinology.
Vishnu graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the JJM Medical College of Davangere in India. He subsequently moved to the UK, working as a junior medical officer there until 2006.Arriving in Australia in 2006, Vishnu completed his basic physicians’ training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, before going on to conclude his advanced endocrinology and general medicine training at Flinders Medical Centre in South Australia.
Vishnu has been practising in Brisbane since 2015. He works in hospitals across Brisbane and holds an appointment of Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. As well as continuing to be actively involved in research, he is also routinely invited to present at endocrinology and general medicine conferences both nationally and internationally.
