Biography
Mr Dan Lenaghan is a urologist using minimally-invasive surgical techniques, such as robot-assisted and laparoscopic procedures, to deliver high quality treatment to all his patients.
Dan has a clinical interest in advanced laparoscopic and robotic-assisted cancer surgery, endoscopic and percutaneous renal stone surgery, shockwave lithotripsy, and minimally invasive benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) treatment. Dan graduated with a medical degree from the University of Melbourne, and went on to complete his specialist urological training in hospitals across NSW and Victoria. He then travelled to the UK to pursue further training, and undertook a year-long fellowship in Manchester, gaining extensive experience in endourological surgery.Since returning from the UK, Dan has become the primary laparoscopic surgeon at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, performing the majority of laparoscopic partial nephrectomy and radical prostatectomy cases.
