Biography

Mr Nigel Hartnett is a Melbourne-based orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in knee surgery. He is informative and covers all possible non-surgical and surgical treatment options to help minimise pain and improve people’s quality of life.

Mr Hartnett performs knee reconstructions, knee replacements and complex revision knee replacement surgeries.

Nigel graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Auckland University in 1996, and a degree in medicine from the University of Otago in 2000. He obtained his fellowship in orthopaedic surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010.

Nigel obtained specialty training in knee surgery with Mr John Bartlett, Hayden Morris, Julian Feller and Tim Whitehead.
