Biography

Mr Otis Wang is an orthopaedic surgeon consulting at St Vincent’s Private Hospitals. He is a lower limb surgeon providing a balanced and thorough explanation of the pros and cons of any proposed surgery and assessment of the best possible outcomes.

Mr Wang specialises in all facets of foot, ankle and knee surgery for conditions from degenerative, chronic and sporting related trauma injuries. He works with a multifaceted team of physiotherapists, podiatrists and orthotic providers to give you the best collective treatment and advice.

Otis graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1998 and completed his orthopaedic surgical training in Victoria in 2006. He then completed international fellowships in the UK at Cambridge and Bristol where he specialised in many aspects of arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery regularly operating on high profile sporting figures. He also spent time overseas with internationally-renowned European orthopaedic surgeons where he gained invaluable knowledge and additional skills.

Otis is involved in ongoing research and is also involved in teaching future orthopaedic surgeons.
