Biography
Mr Raymond Crowe is a Melbourne-based orthopaedic surgeon helping people with painful orthopaedic conditions requiring surgery. He specialises in hip surgery with a clear objective to deliver the least painful and fastest recovery.
Mr Crowe is highly experienced and has been practising in Melbourne since 1992. He has a special interest in the anterior hip replacement surgery and the treatment of early degenerative joints. He also offers expertise in knee and shoulder joint replacements, sports injuries, articular cartilage and tendon injuries.Ray played significant role as a surgeon in the introduction to Australia of the Matrix Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation (MACI) which requires culturing cells obtained from a biopsy of normal cartilage and implanting them into the affected cartilage.
