Your Centre, Your Sanctuary
Originally purchased for the Mater in 2006 by the Bill and Patricia Ritchie Foundation and thoughtfully refurbished in 2020, the Centre is home to a welcoming and relaxing space through the generosity of Kay Van Norton Poche AO.
The Centre offers physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing services to all Mater patients, their families and carers throughout the cancer journey.
Experience the calm serenity of the Centre's welcoming spaces, engage in supportive group programs, reset your mind with a meditation session, move your body with a personalised exercise program or Yoga class, or indulge in one of our integrative wellbeing therapies
Services
The Centre for Wellbeing has a wide range of services, offered both on an individual basis or in a small group setting.
Our practitioners are specialist oncology allied health and complementary therapists who are here to support you from diagnosis, through treatment and into survivorship.
